NewDays

NewDays is a cross-platform product for the new normal work environment. The manner in which teams communicate and collaborate has changed since the pandemic began. The absence of physical interaction has left employees more disconnected than ever. As a result, managers face the challenge of leading a team in a completely virtual setting. NewDays provides managers with the necessary tools to help maintain team morale, oversee performance, identify problems flagged by members, and orient new employees. Multiple design iterations and in-depth research developed the UX/UI of this product.

Intelligent

Intelligent is an input method application for smartphones, tablets and computers. Intelligent combines several artificial intelligence technologies and works on Android, iOS, MacOS and Windows. Face recognition identifies the user and offers a matching mode, such as a mode for older people that supports handwriting and a voice assistant for rare words. Gesture recognition allows handwriting in the air, so text can be entered without touching the screen. The aim is to make communication easier for groups that face barriers in typing and expression.

Infoflow Knowledge Management is enterprise office software for collecting, organizing and reusing company knowledge. The software sorts information into clear categories and recommends content according to each employee's role. Artificial intelligence identifies the office situation, so related knowledge can be opened from a conversation or a meeting through a single link. Searches can be made by keyword, path or theme. The application runs on Android, iOS, MacOS and Windows with a consistent experience. The aim is to reduce the loss of valuable enterprise information.

Baidu Thematic Map is a mobile map application for Android and iOS smartphones. The application shows map information selected for different user groups, based on time, space and user profiles. Human, geographical and social factors are combined and presented together, so nearby services and current events can be found quickly. Graphic map information is integrated with text on the screen for easy reading. Artificial intelligence and big data are used to adapt the display to each group. The aim is to reduce search effort and to support daily study, travel and exploration.

Musiac

Musiac is a musical recommendation engine, utilize proactive participation to find precise options for its users. It aims to propose alternative interfaces to challenge the algorithm autocracy. Information filtering has become an inevitable searching approach. However, it creates echo chamber effects and constrains users in their comfort zone by strickly follow their preferences. Users become passive and stop questioning the options the machine provides. Spending time to review options may increase huge bio-cost, but it is the effort that creates a meaningful experience.

Steel City

The Steel City is a stylized model depicting the steelworks of the future. It consists of semi-transparent acrylic models placed on a led-wall, which serves as a screen for demonstrating various use-cases by literally making the Steel City glow: when selecting one of the scenarios at the terminals, users trigger animations which visualize the processes and work-flows of the steel plant in a firework of light and color projected through the acrylic models on top. The whole experience is extended by a professional layer of information, accessed at the terminals via a unique haptic interface.
