The Sim Code Digi explores how precise a watch face can be while the elegance is still expressed. By just provides the time, the date and the low-battery indicator which only shows up when the watch battery level is below 10 percent, it raises a question that how much information people really need from a watch. It not only shows how balanced can it be between the simplicity and the need of information, but also brings the time to user in a ultimate straightforward way.
Sim Code Digi Smartwatch Face by Pan Yong was identified as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sim Code Digi Smartwatch Face won the Iron A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design in 2022. The A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that celebrates outstanding design of websites, mobile applications, software interfaces, game interfaces, wearable interfaces, virtual reality interfaces, augmented reality interfaces, dashboard designs and more.
